Charleen Conradie (Ruma Kahikatea (Over 2’s))
Kia Ora Whānau, my name is Charleen Conradie. It is a great pleasure to be part of the team at Nature’s Point. I have recently completed my studies toward my Diploma in Early Childhood Education Level 5. My goal is to become a fully qualified Early Childhood Education Teacher. I will be working as a reliever teacher at Nature’s Point. I believe that we are never done learning, each day brings a new lesson to be learned and we learn from our work colleagues and wider community daily. I believe that children learn through play, I also believe that children learn better in a caring, nurturing, and supportive environment.
I have also completed studies in Culinary arts, I have gained my Level 4 Certificate and Level 5 Diploma in Culinary arts. In my free time outside of work I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. I also love cooking and baking, especially when I can experiment with new flavours. My other hobbies I have are reading, listening to music and candle making.
